Bio
Oh my webmasque friends please listen to Bette's tale. Bette found herself, on her first visit to Earth, in your year of 1934. Creeping past a movie theatre, she spotted an advert for a movie with a woman who appeared to have chaos dancing in her bulbous eyes.

Looking closer, the name on the poster was “Bette Davis” and the movie was “Of Human Bondage”. Since she did not know humans, she thought the name was what all women called themselves.

A young boy distracted Bette as she tried to cover her body under the dirty coat she had stolen. He could not see the blue mark on her upper arm, a loud bruise in your world, an identification of caste in hers.

The young boy wanted Bette to buy a newspaper about the man who robbed banks. She asked why more people weren’t doing this, since everything seemed to

be dead, even the movie theatre that they still stood in front of. He looked at her as if her third eye was still visible (it was hidden efficiently by her planet’s “visage developers”) and walked away in a hurry.

Fearful yet insistent, she shouted after him that she just wanted to make music.

That day, the stranger became Bette Dillinger.

Bette is an alien in a strange land, and must report to her planet with transmissions. These transmissions of late have been of the most complicated sort, since something happened to the residents of where she lived after September 11, 2001. Along with two buildings reduced to rubble, the rest of the people around her embraced fear and suspicion. Bette once more felt that terror she felt when she first touched down in your country so many years ago.

These songs currently posted are all early transmissions to her home planet, which calls itself 143.1. They are not without humour, but there is always longing. Bette found kindred musical spirits in the words of Patti Smith and Roger Waters. But everytime Bette communicates with her planet, the signal seems to be growing dimmer....it truly is in a galaxy so far away that Bette wonders if she will ever see it again......

The true report of these times with be released in early fall of your year 2008 in CD form and MP3 form, if everything goes as expected. Bette humbly asks that you support her since the ultimate heartache would be to see her alien dream yet again dashed to dust. The people on her planet love these strange songs and your planet has on this time around shown remarkable interest. Bette just worries, since she has seen it done so many times before on your planet, that the threatened tame will call the different "insane".

Bette is a very shy, insecure alien, but would love to communicate with others.

Good call! You are quickly becoming a pleasent distraction from my everyday. I do appreciate the works of Nin, but honestly I'm really only a fan of her dairy entries. I've read some of her literary accomplishments, but it may be that I haven't absorbed the writings as well as others. Never the less, they are in their own respect; artful portrayals of desire, lust and passion in the stratosphere of sex for men and women...or kids if you read some of her work :)

My buddies Odin and Thor say "hello", and would like to commend you on your effortlessly pleasent story telling. They also happen to be looking for a publicist these days (trying to cash in on that superhero/myth movie-piggy bank). I told them I knew somebody... :)

Anyways, thanks for the comment, and thanks for being unique. I'm sure you'll understand what that means.
